| Description of the problem | Takata recall. I have been waiting over 3 years for the defective airbags in my vehicle to be replaced. This is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for the repair of such a dangerous safety problem. Though takata made the defective airbag, mercedes benz sold the vehicle and should be accountable for repairing the defect in a reasonable amount of time. That time has already passed. In a recent letter mercedes indicated that "[my] safety is of utmost concern to mercedes benz". Mb should not be allowed to sell another new vehicle in the united states until they have relied the potential dangerous of all defective airbags installed in their vehicles. |
